Yes we need to book the room I still like to go down on Thursday or super early Friday but you can`t get into your room till late afternoon that`s why I want to go Thursday so I can bring any fish I buy back to the room and not drag them around till 4'
I will probably leave around 4 pm on Saturday to come back home as most of the fish in Sunday`s auction is leftovers from the room sales I`am also buying the weekend speakers package as the line up looks to be a good time.
So how much are the rooms? If four of us shared a room is it $70 each? I'm confused now. Let's get the room booked gtomike. I'm in! We buying 10Gs down there? We can bring air pumps, breeder boxes and sponges with us. Or we can just buy them down there and bring them back. Either way, I'm good.
No I am pretty sure it is $70/night and max of 4 people, so potentially it would be $17.5 USD per night per person (if you had 4 people in a room). I am in discussion with the fiancé on whether she wants to come, she has relatives about 45 mins from the event so she might come just to go see them (we would get a room to not be a burden - they are older aunt/uncle). If that's the case I guess I am on my own but if she decides to stay home then I am more than willing to split a room with someone, even $35/night isn't bad to me.
It also states on their website that Swap Meet tables are $20 if you are registered and $30 if you are not registered, so that might be something else we can look into splitting (if we really need it).
Final thought, we should probably bring our own sponge filters since they will be established rather than buying down there (we can obviously buy more while we are down there but have 2-3 established ones might be smart). I am also planning on getting some good rubbermade containers for transport but trying to find a more waterproof solution, do you guys think buckets with lids would be better? I don't plan on buying a ton though but I also want to be prepared if the opportunity presents itself.
